Kurt Riedel has a degree in elementary education and a graduate degree in special education for students with mental and physical disabilities. He has done field work with various special populations, but his experience has been largely in regular elementary education. Mr. Riedel taught for 39 years in a Pittsburgh Catholic school, teaching various grade levels from K-8, but mostly 4th and 5th grades. His primary areas to teach were all of the language arts, and religious education. Mr. Riedel has been at PNCS for one year, teaching language arts to second through fifth graders, and reader’s theater to second through eighth grade.
