The Pittsburgh New Church School will have a table with children’s activities at the Point Breeze Light Up Night on Saturday, December 6 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Please let us know if you would be interested in volunteering at the table to spread the word about our school on this cheery holiday event.
We are holding a dyslexia simulation on Monday, October 13 at 6:00pm. Please join us to see what it feels like to be a student with dyslexia. Participants will undergo challenges in a classroom environment created to replicate how a learner with dyslexia can feel in a regular teaching environment. Open your mind and experience it for yourself!
Saturday, October 18 at 2:30pm – Join us for our annual Dyslexia Dash! The Dyslexia Dash is a 1 mile community fun run. This year, the Dash ends at the Point Breeze Fall Festival where you can enjoy delicious snacks and kid’s activities! Scan the QR code on the flyer to register a team. NEW this year – if you are unable to make it, you can sponsor a team. Every dollar will go towards helping a child with dyslexia succeed.
