Join us for our first parent volunteer event of the school year! Saturday, August 22 from 8:00am – 12:00pm. A delicious pancake breakfast and then help do minor work around the school grounds and building to help get the school ready for the upcoming school year. There will be jobs for all ages and abilities. Meet other PNCS parents and get some volunteer hours towards your requirement. The Pittsburgh New Church School will be hosting a Remake Learning Day Event on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:00pm – 8:00pm. There will be several multisensory stations with activities for children of all ages. Saturday, November 15 at 5:00pm – Join us for our annual Harvest Festival! We will be serving pulled pork, student-made bread, butter, applesauce and pies. Families are requested to bring the side dishes and be prepared to kick up their heels and cut a rug on the dance floor as Principal Glenn calls the dances.
We are holding a dyslexia simulation on Monday, October 13 at 6:00pm. Please join us to see what it feels like to be a student with dyslexia. Participants will undergo challenges in a classroom environment created to replicate how a learner with dyslexia can feel in a regular teaching environment. Open your mind and experience it for yourself!
