The Point Breeze Organization sponsors a neighborhood yard sale and the Pittsburgh New Church School participates with a bake sale! Come out to support the school by buying some delicious baked goods and wander around the yard sale to find any treasures.
Join us Saturday, October 17 at 3:00pm for the 4th Annual Dyslexia Dash! If you can’t make it to walk the course, you can sponsor a team. There will be music and children’s activities & games. Monday, September 14 at 6:00pm – Join us to meet your student’s teachers and see what they are working on at the beginning of the school year. Students can grab an ice cream from Beedles Ice Cream truck and have fun with their classmates while parents discuss what their students will learn this school year. We look forward to seeing you and talking with you all about your students and how we will make learning fun this year!
Join us for our first parent volunteer event of the school year! Saturday, August 22 from 8:00am – 12:00pm. A delicious pancake breakfast and then help do minor work around the school grounds and building to help get the school ready for the upcoming school year. There will be jobs for all ages and abilities. Meet other PNCS parents and get some volunteer hours towards your requirement. If you would like to volunteer to help cook breakfast please call the office at 412-731-0122.
The Pittsburgh New Church School is looking forward to the graduation of the following 8th grade students: Vivienne Donatelli, Bowen Roland & Lucas Smith. We will be closing our 141st year on Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00pm. We celebrate each student with a personalized certificate and and look forward to promoting 24 students this year.
