Melissa is going on her ninth year of teaching. A graduate from Carlow University with a degree in early childhood and special education, Melissa began her career in Fairfax county, Virginia as a K-2 self-contained teacher. For the last four years she has served as the special education director at the Hill House Passport Academy Charter school. She recently completed her masters degree in literacy at Slippery Rock University. As a PNCS alumna, Melissa is extremely excited to join the faculty. She is also a loving and proud mother to her ten-year-old daughter Mollie.
